Why did my old walkway heave and crack?
Frost got under a shallow or poorly compacted base and pushed the slab up. We fix that by excavating deeper, compacting a real stone base, and setting proper joints so the new walk stays put.
Can you match my house or existing patio?
Yes. We can add a stamped or colored border and finish to tie the walkway into a patio or driveway you already have so it all reads as one job.
How long before I can walk on it?
A day or so for light foot traffic, and we like to give it a few more days before heavy use. We will give you an exact time when we finish.
Do you replace just a cracked section or the whole walk?
Either. If one section heaved we can cut and replace it, though matching an older slab is never perfect. For a uniform look, replacing the full run is the cleaner result.
Will it be slippery in winter?
