How thick should a concrete driveway be?
Four inches is standard for cars, and we go thicker where you park heavier vehicles or trailers. We match the thickness and reinforcement to how you actually use the driveway.
How long before I can drive on it?
Stay off it on foot for a day or so, and keep vehicles off for about seven days while it cures. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks, but a week is the safe window for normal driving.
Why do driveways crack?
Almost always base or joint problems. A poorly compacted base settles, and missing or badly placed control joints let the slab crack wherever it wants. We handle both up front so you do not deal with it later.
